Bandana: Kedisha Coakley

Constructed with the material at its core and the process being part of the final outcome. A series photographic braided wallpapers developed from collagraph printed synthetic hair, then manipulate digitally. Used to explore themes of home, memory and identity to encapsulate and reinforce ideas of class, status and cultural affiliations.

Taken directly from a section of wallpaper made for the Ronald Moody: Sculpting Life exhibition at the Hepworth Wakefield.
